Australia & New Zealand RCM Access Rules Tightened for Ozone Generators

New RCM access regulations for Australia and New Zealand have come into force with stricter requirements. The ozone emission limit for ozone-generating air purifiers is lowered from 0.05 ppm to 0.01 ppm, mandatory for compliance. All legacy test reports will no longer be officially recognized.

This policy change directly impacts exports of air purifiers and ozone generators. Compliance risks for supporting components of water purifiers also require simultaneous review.

All shipments bound for Australia and New Zealand must undergo thorough verification of valid updated test reports prior to dispatch to prevent cargo detention, customs clearance delays and regulatory penalties.
